Banquets & Meetings
The Convention Services staff with help guests plan events in over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space. Designed to inspire, the function rooms are named after Sonoran Desert animals and feature earth tones and cultural designs. The main ballroom offers more than 17,000 square feet, and the Junior Ballroom, more than 7,000 square feet. Sixteen function rooms in all offer a variety of seating options. The two ballrooms display murals in subtle tones with images based on ancient figures representing music and dancing in the Main Ballroom, while basket and pottery designes adorn the Junior Ballroom.

The 17,500 square foot Aji Spa is aptly named for the Pima word for sanctuary. Featuring 17 treatment rooms, salon, fitness center, a relaxing watsu pool and a traditional roundhouse, it offers the finest in spa services with a Native American flavor. Experience one-of-a-kind treatments developed from ancient rituals, including ingredients such as red clay from the Gila River, and Cholla cactus bud, to help purify and rejuvenate the body.
Golfing
Whirlwind Golf Club is a truly unique Southwest golf experience sensitively designed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community. Surrounded by spectacular mountains and managed by Troon Golf, this unique golf venue is also home to the PGA's Nationwide Insurance Tour, Gila River Golf Classic held every year in October. The two courses, Devil's Claw and Cattail, are masterpieces developed by Gary Panks that will impress and challenge golfers of all skill levels. Featuring pristine and uncluttered views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains, the courses showcase the beauty of the natural terrain. Covering 242 acres, with 92 acres of turfed area and 150 acres of desert landscape, Panks' design is "challenging but fair" for players of various handicaps. Each of the 36 holes is named after a significant legend or landmark of the Pima and Maricopa Indians. Only plants that are indigenous to the Gila River and its surrounding desert are featured on these 7,017-yard, par 72 courses.

Koli Equestrian Center: Ride horseback on ancient tribal land at this unique equestrian experience. Truly an adventure back in time, Koli offers an array of options for a Western adventure.
Theatre Museums
Desert Botanical Garden: Nestled amid the red buttes of Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden hosts one of the world's finest collections of desert plants. HuHugam Heritage Center tells the stories of the history, culture, and language of the peoples of the Gila River Indian Community and honors the ancient Huhugam. Through exhibitions, classes, programs, and its collections, its goal is to educate Community members, youth, and visitors.
