"Yo ADRIAN!", Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will soon open a four-star, luxurious boutique destination directly across from the nation's iconic Liberty Bell later this summer. Built in 1906, the historic Lafayette Building will get a little nip-tuck within America's most historic square mile in the Old City - Historic District of Center City, Philadelphia. The new Hotel Monaco will be home to "Red Owl Tavern", a 120-seat chef-driven restaurant and bar, as well as a 'game changing' rooftop lounge overlooking Philly's famed Independence Mall.

Our 268 guestrooms will feature awe-inspiring design, highlighted by park-view exposures, 18 King Spa rooms and 17 suites. There's approximately 12,000 square feet of meeting & function space which includes a 3,200 square foot ballroom adjacent to Independence Park (wedding bells anyone?). To top it off, this hotel holds a special place within the hearts of Kimpton as it will be the 10th Hotel Monaco in our unique collection.
