Explora is located amidst a private natural reserve, 17 km north of the small mountain villa EL Chalten, on the north bank of the Eléctrico River and surrounded by dense forests of lenga and ñirre trees. Its strategic position is perfect to explore the Southern Patagonia Ice Field, the world’s third largest fresh water reserve. The surrounding scenery is just one reason our lodge is among the best places to stay in El Chaltén.

​Explora lodge is all-inclusive and includes transfer in/out from El Calafate (fixed time schedule), accommodations, meals and beverages (including open bar), guided explorations (choose between 35+ hiking, biking and overland van-based in groups of maximum 8 guests) and park entrance fees.
