Situated on the French capital’s Left Bank, the design-led hotel is influenced by the rich culture and history of its surroundings. Irish novelist James Joyce finished his seminal novel, Ulysses, while staying at the property. Brought to life by interior designer Didier Benderli, the hotel features 47 individually appointed rooms and suites, a tranquil spa, a bar and new restaurant, Les Parisiens, by award-winning chef Thibault Sombardier, all of which offer a refined and contemporary take on the quintessential Parisian experience.Such Parisian details. A café, like a literary salon. A chic and lively table. A neighborhood life, between the Seine and the Café de Flore. An address. The Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain. A high fashion decor. A made-to-measure service. And the privilege of a spa where you can gently escape. Paris without compromise. Paris as the only promise. It is the promise of a new "German-Pratin" landmark. Between the Seine and the Café de Flore opened Le Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain in April 2022. A place that offers three entry keys with at number 1 Les Parisiens, a chic bistro, entrusted to Chef Thibault Sombardier, at number 3 Le Bar James Joyce and at number 5, the hotel & Spa with couture luxury.
The Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain was completely renovated in 2021, adding a new chapter to its long history dating back to 1642. Much later, in the 20th century, it became a favourite place for artists. James Joyce, Léo Ferré and T.S. Eliot have all left their mark on this magical place. It is the spirit of a place where one feels immediately at home, where classic meets modern and where the accuracy of the detail prevails over the superfluity of the decor. Spacious, quiet and bright, the 47 rooms and suites are a haven of peace and offer a typically Parisian atmosphere. They are composed with the surprises of the architecture. The layout evolves according to the volumes. The charm is undeniable. The Classic room transports you into a typically Parisian universe, which can be found in the Superior rooms, as well as in the Deluxe, Junior Suites and Suites. Comfort is omnipresent, palpable. The range of colors is soft, easy to appropriate. The view of the facades and rooftops of the neighborhood gives one the confused feeling of owning and belonging to Paris. Here you can taste the salt of the city. Among the 47 rooms, 14 have been redecorated by Didier Benderli in 2022 (2 Classics, 7 Deluxes, 4 Suites and the James Joyce Suite).
