Welcome to the Villas of Son Bunyola on the picturesque Spanish island of Mallorca. Sir Richard Branson's favourite Mallorcan retreat, the vast estate on includes three luxury villas available for exclusive hire Sa Punta S'Aguila, Sa Terra Rotja and Son Balagueret, set amidst 680 acres of stunning landscape. Terracing surrounds the manor house with vines, citrus fruit trees, almonds and hundreds of olive trees, producing much of the olive oil used in the dishes created by Son Bunyola's culinary team.

The three luxury villas can be hired year-round and are designed to feel like your Mallorcan home-away-from-home. Each has its own unique style and character, and is guaranteed to be a relaxing, private and special setting for your stay.

Sa Punta Des'Aguila: Sa Punta de S’Aguila translates as ‘Eagle’s Point’, and this five-bedroom villa is located along a track above the coastline. Built in traditional Mallorcan style, with exposed beam ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, it has been sympathetically built into the landscape and has panoramic sea and mountain views. Sa Punta de S’Aguila has a private heated swimming pool, kitchen, living room and dining area. This villa comfortably sleeps 10 adults in 5 en-suite bedrooms.

Sa Terra Rotja: Literally translating as ‘red earth’ from the local Mallorquín language, this four- bedroom villa is situated near the edge of the estate and a 20-minute walk from a pebble beach. Sa Terra Rotja also has a private heated swimming pool and plenty of space on the terrace for sunbathing. This villa comfortably sleeps 8 adults in 4 en-suite bedrooms.

Son Balagueret: Son Balagueret is a traditional and secluded three-bedroom Mallorcan villa with plenty of space for guests to relax and take in the beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. The villa can sleep eight adults in four bedrooms. One bedroom is located in the villa’s signature turret, with a curved stairwell leading from a shared bathroom on the lower level. This villa comfortably sleeps 8 adults in 4 en-suite bedrooms.

Terms and Conditions
Reservations must be made through Five Star Alliance. Continental Breakfast for up to two guests daily in the dining area. For all-inclusive bookings a complimentary cooking class for the entire group, including recipe card and a basket of local gifts is included. For bookings that are not all-inclusive (self-catering bookings) a $100 USD airport car transfer credit is included. Upgrade, early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability at time of check-in and departure.

Hiking
Settled within the beautiful Mallorcan mountainous landscape, the area is perfect for hiking expeditions. Take a walk around the estate which is 3km × 5km in size, or head straight down to the coast walk which starts from a pebble beach. To walk to the beach will take 40 minutes from Son Balagueret via Sa Terra Rotja and from both Sa Terra Rotja and Sa Punta de S'Aguila it will take 20 minutes. If you want to go further afield, the nearest town is Banyalbufar and is approximately a 45-minute walk from Sa Punta de S'Aguila, an hour walk along the beach front from Sa Terra Rotja or 1 hour 15 minutes from Son Balagueret. Hiking expeditions can also be arranged.
