With golden cupolas and magnificent domes set against contemporary skyscrapers soaring over this jewel of a city, Moscow is one of the most stimulating urban centres the world over. Set at the intersection of Mokhovaya and Tverskaya Streets, Hotel National faces the regal walls of the Kremlin and is in close proximity to St. Basil's Cathedral, famed for its characteristic onion domes.

The hotel's 150 guest rooms and 56 suites are richly decorated with antique Russian objects d'art. Built in 1903 by Russian architect Alexander Ivanov, Hotel National offers stylish comfort and elegant luxury in the heart of Moscow.

Location Summary
Moscow is one of the oldest cities of Russia founded in 1147 by Grand Duke Yuri Dolgorukiy. Hotel National is situated right opposite the Kremlin, which was a Tzar's palace during the history of Russia. The Kremlin is now a museum complex in a huge area and is surrounded by the red brick Kremlin walls.

The Museum of Moscow History is a few minutes walk from the hotel, as is St. Bazil's Cathedral and the Red Square.

Less than 5 minutes walk away is the Bolshoi Theatre and less than ten minutes away stands the biggest Orthodox cathedral in the world - Christ the Savior Cathedral - which was restored from ruins a few years ago.

Arbat Street, famous for its souvenirs shops, is 15 minutes walk from the hotel and someof the main trading centres, such as Manezh and GUM, are only minutes away.
