Excellent

Excellent hotel. Great pool. Great room. Awesome vibe.

Guests of Solaz Resort will at once notice the striking architecture, which seamlessly blends the destination's unique landscape where the desert meets the sea. An undulating structure—with its endemic landscaping and rooftop gardens, sustainable choice of endangered flora, and quiet tree-lined pathways that meander to the sea—mimic the flowing waters and desert dunes. This ambitious project was carried out by the prestigious and renowned Mexican architecture firm, Sordo Madaleno Architects, an award-winning firm that has designed some of the most important projects in Mexico.

The Los Cabos resort is designed in contemporary Mexican style using warm indigenous woods and tones to provide a transformative immersion into the local environment, while a wrapping infinity pool meets the endless stretch of sand.

Sweeping ocean views can be appreciated from 128 guest rooms and suites, whose natural color palettes incorporate wood and granite. Outdoor terraces feature private pools, whirlpools, and fire pits. The penthouse Presidential Suite affords panoramas of the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Three-bedroom residences are distinguished by stunning wraparound terraces and premium amenities.

Guests can order freshly caught fish and seafood at Al Pairo; traditional and contemporary Baja fare and tapas at Cascabel; and a “dinner grill” at Mako, with such choices as dry-aged steaks, local live lobsters and fresh fish. La Cava features a selection of more than 2,500 vintages — many of them local to the region.

The Ojo de Liebre Spa has 10 private treatment rooms and two VIP double rooms, along with a range of services such as Alo Therapy (Himalayan Salt Igloo) and Thalasso Therapy, and a full-service salon. Families staying at Solaz can take advantage of its children's club. Additionally the resort will offer tailor made experiences that include snorkeling, fishing, whale-watching, off-road excursions, cooking classes, and more.
