Designed by Los-Angeles-based Rodrigo Vargas Design, accommodations feature an ocean-inspired color palette of blues, greens, and whites, plus balconies with modern patio furniture. For an overall coastal, beach house feel.

The resort's seven dining options include Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, plus AVEO Table + Bar serving Mediterranean cuisine crafted with local ingredients, and Club 19 with American fare in an indoor-outdoor gastro pub setting. Sombra serves modern Mexi-Cali dishes in a poolside cantina environment, and 33 North has three separate dining rooms including an outdoor patio with fireside seating.

A key element of the Monarch Beach Resort is the first coastal Miraval Life in Balance Spa. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the sanctuary offers a selection of Miraval's incomparable offerings with a unique connection to the physical and spiritual tranquility of private beach access. There are 24 treatment rooms, and 40 complimentary wellness and fitness classes per week.

The Monarch Beach Golf Links is an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Modeled in traditional Scottish links style, the beachfront course has a professional golf shop, lessons, and the Club 19 restaurant on the first tee.

The resort's multi-level pool design includes the Main Pool and Family Pool with splash zones, plus an adults-only spa pool, and two infinity-edge spas. There's a second level dedicated to sunning and lounging, plus private cabanas with built-in music systems and outdoor fire pits.

For recreation, the resort offers the only private beach club along the coast, where guests can choose from a variety of land and sea options including surf lessons led by the resort’s Surf Host, paddle boarding, bonfires and trail hikes. While the Monarch Beach Kids Club provides an array of options for young travelers.
