Gstaad Palace Hotel

Perched on a hill overlooking the city, Gstaad Palace is a historic luxury hotel offering breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. Opened in 1913 and family-operated by the Scherz Family for three generations, the landmark property combines grand hotel glamour with alpine cosiness. Renowned for personalized service and quality, the hotel has romantic architecture and interiors blending alpine style with modern amenities, for a charming, yet relaxed atmosphere.

The 95 guest rooms and suites feature Alpine chic styling with views of the Alps. The Palace Spa and health club has eight treatment rooms, a private spa suite, saunas and steam bath, relaxation areas with mountain views, indoor pool a state-of-the-art gym, an activity room, and a unique Hammam experience with seven rooms. During the summer months, there’s an Olympic outdoor swimming pool.

For dining, the iconic hotel has five gastronomic experiences including Le Grill gourmet restaurant with a show kitchen and wine cellar. Gildo's Ristorante serves authentic Italian cuisine, La Fromagerie has Swiss specialties including Fondue and Raclette, while Le Grand Restaurant & La Grand Terrace have an elegant buffet on Saturday evenings. For dining with the ultimate view, the Walig Hut is an authentic Swiss alpine hut built in 1793, providing a tranquil setting for lunch and dinner 1700 meters above Gsteig.

The Gstaad Palace has five banquet rooms available for weddings, concerts, meetings, and expositions with up to 350 attendees. Please note: The hotel is generally open from mid-December through early March for the winter season and from late June to mid-September in the summer.
