Location Summary
South Seas Island Resort is a 330-acre full service destination resort on tropical Captiva Island in Southwest Florida located approximately 60 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport and Fort Myers.
Directions to Hotel
From the Southwest Florida International Airport take Terminal Access Road out of the airport, turn right onto Treeline Ave Extension and left unto Daniels Parkway. Continue on Daniel's Parkway, cross over US HWY 41 (Daniel's Parkway becomes Cypress Lake Drive once you have crossed over US HWY 41). Proceed on Cypress Lake Drive to Summerlin Road. Turn left onto Summerlin and continue 10 miles to the Sanibel Causeway (bridge toll). Proceed over the causeway to the stop sign and turn right onto Periwinkle Way. Proceed to the end and at the stop sign turn right onto Tarpon Bay Road, then go to the very next stop sign and turn left onto Sanibel/Captiva Road. Stay on this road approximately 11 miles to the entrance to South Seas Island Resort.

Pool Outdoor
The Pointe Pool Complex located at the north end of the resort features two large pools with a spa and private cabanas. Along with the main pool, there are pools within each of the villa areas.

Kay Casperson Spa is located on the south end of the resort and provides a variety of treatment options.
Tennis Courts On Site
The Tennis Center is located near the Guest Reception area.
Beach
South Seas offers miles of sugar white sand with world renowned shelling.
Boating
South Seas features two marinas-one deep basin for larger vessels.
Golfing
South Seas features a 9 hole executive course located beachfront.
Jet Skiing
Jet Ski's are available at the T-Dock at the Pointe Pool and Recreation Complex.
Sailing
Sailing available from the marinas or take lessons from the Offshore Sailing School.
Scuba Diving
Scuba Diving is available from Fort Myers Beach.
Shopping
Shops are located at the south end of the resort as well as along Andy Rosse Lane on Captiva Island. Sanibel Island also provides shopping with small boutiques and galleries
Theatre Museums
Movies are shown at the South Beach-weather permitting. Museums and shows are available in Fort Myers.
Recommended Rooms
Located at the prestigious north end of the resort, the Harbourside at the Pointe guestrooms feature one luxurious king or two queen beds with desk and chair. The bath offers a retreat complete with roman tub/shower and a dressing area with double vanity. The accommodations also offer a DVD/CD Player, LCD flat screen television, and ceiling fans.
