Ferme Saint Simeon

Nestled on a hill within a charming 17th century Norman home, the Ferme Saint Simeon boasts panoramic views of the Seine Estuary. During the height of impressionism, the greatest artists of the time painted within the property's gardens. Today, the completely refurbished farm is a Relais & Chateaux hotel offering a gastronomic restaurant, bar, lounge , spa, and smoking lounge featuring numerous impressionist and contemporary paintings bringing back an atmosphere of a bygone era.

The 35 rooms and suites are situated within the original farmhouse and the Pressoir. All have been artfully restored with oak flooring, ancient paneling, and noble materials, resulting in a luxurious and rustic retreat. Accommodations are cozy with modern conveniences including minibars, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, and iPhone docking stations.

The hotel's gastronomic restaurant serves Norman cuisine in an authentic environment. Prepared by Chef Mickael Lelievre, the dishes are crafted using carefully selected Norman produce from the best local sources, to offer the finest regional cuisine. The Lounge & Bar overlook the Seine and flowery gardens, and are set within a space featuring wood paneling and a crackling fire. The lounge and bar area serves cocktails, Calvados, Armagnacs, and champagnes, often accompanied by local musicians. The Smoking Room features a lounge area and terrace, with a traditional English style ambiance with club armchairs and a piano.

The spa is located within the Pressoir. There are four treatment rooms, and guests can select from a variety of treatments that utilize local ingredients including milk, apples, cereals, and precious stones. There's also a sauna, Hamman, and two jacuzzis. Plus, an indoor pool and fitness center.

In honor of the famous artists who've painted on the grounds, guests can partake in painting classes within the gardens where impressionist masters including Monet, Corot, and Jongkind painted while staying at the guest house.
