The resorts overlooks the Coral Sea in the tropical village of Palm Cove, 25 minutes north of Cairns. The Reef House is 25 kilometres from Cairns International Airport, approximately halfway between Cairns and Port Douglas.

Reef House Restaurant is the premier Palm Cove restaurant and is set under 300 year old Melaleuca gums swaying in the sea breeze and featuring a seasonal menu.
