Hotel Chateau Amade

Situated in the town of Vrakúň on Rye Island, the largest onshore island in Europe, Hotel Amade Château is a luxury hotel with 30 guest rooms and suites. Set on the former site of the Amade family home, the castle property was built in 1904.

Transformed into an upscale five star hotel in 2009, accommodations are set within the main building, and smaller surrounding buildings, providing a romantic and cozy setting. Each of the 20 guest rooms and 10 suites are designed in an original manner with hand-painted wallpaper, hand-woven blankets, and locally influenced accessories.

The Château Amade's Pompadour restaurant serves traditional cuisine in an elegant setting. There is a patisserie with hand-painted nature scenes serving fresh pastries and cakes, and the Lobby Bar offers fireside cocktails. There's also a wine cellar and cigar room. On-site leisure options include the Wellness & Spa and an authentically Turkish Hammam with traditional treatments.
