Location Summary
Bora Bora lies 240 km (150 miles) northwest of Tahiti in the Leeward Society Islands and can be reached after 50mn flight from Tahiti thanks to Air Tahihi who offers more than 7 flights a day. The main island, home to 4,225 inhabitants, is in the center if a multicolored lagoon, surrounded by offshore motu islets inside a protective necklace of coral. There is only one navigable pass, facing the principal village of Vaitape. A 29 km (18 miles) partially paved road circles the island, passing colorful villages, archaeological sites, old Army bunkers and cannon left over from World War II, when 5,000 American GIs made a "friendly invasion".
Fine Dining On Site
The Tevairoa Restaurant The main dining room, the Tevairoa Restaurant sits 6 meters (20 feet) above sea level and overlooks the thousand shades of blues and turquoise of the Bora Bora lagoon, and looks onto the majestic and memorable mountain Otemanu. The Miki Miki Restaurant and Bar are located next to the pool. It proposes lunch by the pool or under shaded huts. The Taurearea Bar has a perfect setting to admire the sunrise or a magical place to try one of its old portos or rhum. The finishing touch to top off a unique evening experience.
Pool Outdoor
The Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort features a large fresh water swimming pool of Bora Bora (485 sq. meters or 5220 sq. feet) situated at the base of a water cascade and with a Jacuzzi located beside the center of the pool. The pool is just next to the beach and is surrounded by decked and tiled areas with lounge chairs. It is serviced throughout the day by a pool bar and restaurant.

Ecological Tourism
In 2001, Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa collaborated with a marine biologist to install 30 artificial reefs within the lagoon of the hotel under the overwater bungalows. This nursery called "Toa Nui" (big coral in Tahitian) is a unique experience.
Mini-golf is available.
Scuba Diving
Bora Bora has earned its place in the diving world and is one of the rare places where we can observe manta rays all year long. Experience its wide variety of sharks, schools of barracudas and the famous ballet of manta rays. It will be a diving experience that you will never forget.
The resort proposes two different boutiques: one which offers every day conveniences as well as a large sample of local handicrafts and the other which features the natural jewels of our Pacific lagoons, the world famous black pearls.
