Grand Hotel Majestic Gia Baglioni
Situated on a palazzo built in the 18th century, the Grand Hotel Majestic Gia Baglioni is built on top of an ancient Roman road. Originally commissioned as an Archdiocesen Seminary in the 1700s, the historic 109-room hotel was fully renovated in 2016, and offers classic Italian style, exquisite antiques, elegance, and hospitality blended with modern amenities.
There are three dining areas within the hotel, including the upscale I Carracci Restaurant was awarded “Three Forks” by the Michelin Guide, with gourmet Bolognese cuisine and frescoed ceilings. The Enoteca Morandi offers traditional recipes from the Emilia region, authentic Italian cuisine, and the original Morandi Wine Cellar—offering more than 300 top Italian and international wines, as well as private food and wine tastings. There's a breakfast room for traditional dining and brunch, and Cafè Marinetti has light lunches along with a retro piano bar atmosphere for classic cocktails.
The recently added Health & Wellness area at the hotel features a spa with a variety of services to reduce stress and restore harmony between the body and soul, plus a Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area, and an emotional shower with chromo therapy. Along with a fitness center offering state-of-the-art Technogym equipment.
The hotel has seven meeting rooms, including three original meeting rooms with 16th century coffered ceilings, and four new meeting venues.
