Excellent wellness hotel. Awesome rooms and service in a great location. Awesome vibe.
Hotel Crillon le Brave is a relaxed and informal refuge where you can enjoy all of the simple pleasures of Provence. Located about 25 miles northeast of Avignon, the 34-bedroom hotel is perched on top of a tiny hill village surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The hotel occupies much of the old historic centre of Crillon le Brave and the rooms and suites are located in eight old village houses that are connected by bridges, alleyways, and hidden courtyards. Each of the renovated houses has its own charm and character that reflect the rich history of the village.
During your staying with us, why not pamper yourself with a facial or body treatment in our new Spa des Ecuries.? Set in the old village stables, the three new treatment rooms are worth a visit themselves but the combination of great therapists, lead by Californian-born Kelly Thomas, and the fantastic products of Bamford complete the experience perfectly. Guests appreciate the opportunity to have a variety of different restaurant experiences. This usually starts with a great dinner in the main Restaurant Jerome Blanchet, either in the magnificent stone vaulted dining room or, weather permitting, on the spectacular terraces overlooking the vineyards and olive groves of Provence. Whichever the location, dinner will be prepared by the talented young chef Jerome Blanchet and his team. Another dinner option, most nights in the busier months, is Bistrot 40K, a rustic celebration of food and wine produced within 40 kilometres of Crillon le Brave.
The countryside around Hotel Crillon le Brave is rich with the best of Provence: lively village markets, medieval towns and Roman ruins, Provence's best antiques market, scenic cycling and walking trails, the vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape and the Cotes du Rhone, enormous fields of lavender, and the studios of some of Provence's best artists and artisans. Make Hotel Crillon le Brave your base and we'll help you plan easy day trips to see all of this and more. Lovers of food and wine will delight in the cuisine of Provencial native Chef Philippe Monti featured in Le Restaurant and in the carefully selected wines of the Rhone Valley and other regions of southern France that fill the cellar.
