Directions From Airport To Hotel - Take The Northway 87 North To Exit 30 -lake Placid-. Turn Left Onto 73 And Continue 30 Miles To Lake Placid. Drive Down Main Street To Rte 86 -turn Left Between Hilton And Ramada-. Take 1.5 Miles To Whiteface Inn Road On The Right. Turn Right And Go Another 1.5 Miles To Lodge Sign. Turn Right And Follow Signs To Lodge Parking Lot.

Hiking
There are thousands of miles of hiking trails throughout the pristine wilderness of the Adirondacks, from gentle, level paths to precipitous, demanding ascents. The famed 125-mile Jackrabbit Trail passes right by the Lodge’s front door. We will be happy to provide you with a trail map or arrange for a guided hike.
Horseback Riding
Emerald Springs Ranch in Saranac Lake offers trail rides throughout the year. Both English and Western mounts are available for riders of all abilities.

Skiing Snow
Whiteface Mountain boasts the longest vertical drop – 3,430 feet – of any Eastern ski mountain. Whiteface (about a thirty minute drive from the Lodge) is a truly exceptional place to ski: families will find gentle slopes and child-friendly equipment; aficionados will love the difficult runs and wild terrain.
