Excellent luxury hotel. Good for sightseeing with access to public transportation. Great room.
While Hotel Le Littre is very Parisian by nature, you will also enjoy the peace and quiet, comfort, friendliness and service quality of this hotel, which has been run by the same family since 1924. Caring, available staff, a warm and friendly atmosphere, colored, well thought-out, elegant decoration and customized service. This is Le Littre way of life, summed up in a few words. 1924. Paris. The cornerstones of the hotel were laid as the Roaring Twenties were getting into full swing. Picasso, Matisse and Scott Fitzgerald, among others, came to seek inspiration all over Paris, from Montmartre down to Montparnasse. And so Le Littre Hotel was born. In 1952, soldiers from the US Air Force took over the property following diplomatic instructions, and introduced Jazz and Rhythm and Blues. In 1967, the hotel opened up to the public again. It has been welcoming tourists from all over the world ever since.
All rooms have double-glazing, individual air-conditioning secure Internet access, a flat-screen TV with international channels, an individual safety deposit box, and a minibar. They look out either over Rue Littre, a quiet little street, or over the rear courtyard. The bathrooms have bathtubs with shower fixtures (some have a separate shower), a magnifying mirror, slippers and bathrobes, bath products, and a hair-dryer. There are 5 room categories so you are sure to find one to suit your needs.
The hotel's multilingual staff are available for you, day and night, to attend to your various needs: to help you book a cruise on the River Seine, a plane ticket, to recommend tours or exhibitions or to help you to send an e-mail. A buffet breakfast is served in the majestic room every day. If you wish to relax after a day of working, visiting the city or shopping, or while you are waiting for the curtain to go up on your theater outing, you can enjoy the very British atmosphere of the Le Littre bar. If you prefer to remain in the privacy of your hotel room, you can choose a snack from the room service menu, which includes a kids' menu.
