Location Summary
The Grand Hotel Excelsior is a deluxe 5 star resort ideally located on the doorstep of a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the City of Valletta with all its major attractions, art treasures and historical architectural gems. The Hotel provides stunning views of Marsamxett Harbour and Manoel Island from its location by the edge of the sea. Its central position allows for easy travel to all parts of the islands. The hotel prides itself in offering the discerning traveler accommodation with unique breathtaking views; state-of-the-art meeting rooms and an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Directions to Hotel
From the airport, go straight across the roundabout, following signs for Valletta. Turn right at the second roundabout and left at the third. At the end of the hill, turn left and then right into the main road. Drive north towards Valletta, passing Portes des Bombes, towards Floriana and then towards Marsamxett Harbour. Our Hotel is on the left hand side. The distance is 7km with a driving time of 20 minutes. Driving in Malta is on the left.
Note Bene
For the past three years, the hotel played host to the well known artists performing at the yearly concert, Isle of MTV - Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias, Black Eyed Peas, Scissor Sisters, David Guetta, Kid Rock, Kelis to name but a few. Tom Jones, Rod Stewart and Ronan Keating, who were in Malta to give a concert, also chose to stay here.
