The Gran Hotel Conde Duque, a 4 star hotel situated in the centre of Madrid is a reference in the city concerning the tourist service. Since 1953, the Hotel stands up in the peaceful and landscaped square of Plaza Conde Valle de Suchil, in a singular building, declared Heritage building by the Madrid Town Hall. During the most important refurbishment in 1993, the aim of offering a high level of quality, takes us to set up an intensive plan of maintenance. This goal, together with our main characteristics of warmth and personal attention, stylish and tasteful decoration and the excellent situation in the city, have outlined our brand identity. It is our purpose, to make our guests fill at home in a familiar and elegant ambiance.

In 2005, the Hotel has been certified in the Quality system ISO 9001:2000 and in the Enviromental management system ISO 14001:2004. We are also proud to announce that the Hotel has been awarded with the 2005 Enviromental Prize (in the Sustainable Tourism category). This prize, as a recognition to all the efforts done to improve our environment, is convoked by the Community of Madrid, the Madrid Trade and Industry Chamber of Commerce and the CEIM - Enterprise Confederation of Madrid.
