Directions to Hotel
Take Highway 400 north to Barrie. Branch off Hwy 400 onto Hwy 11 heading north towards Orillia/North Bay. At Gravenhurst, take exit 169 North/Bethune Drive. Continue on Bethune to Winewood Avenue. Turn left onto Winewood and then first right onto Muskoka beach Road (Muskoka Road #17). Follow signs 5km (3 miles) to Taboo.

Some of the themes which are presented throughout the year include: Wildlife of Muskoka: A general information walk to discover the animals and geology that make this part of Ontario unique; Deep Woods Hiking: With a guide, you can get off the beaten path and really experience the Muskoka terrain up close and personal; Pontoon Boat Tour of Lake Muskoka and bird nesting sanctuary: Eleanor Island is home to nesting herons, gulls, terns and cormorants. Views from the boat are spectacular; Canoe and kayak excursions: explore the Hoc Roc River and the
shoreline of Lake Muskoka, either with a guide or by yourself.
