Just a short drive from Melbourne, Chateau Yering Historic House Hotel is a heritage listed Victorian mansion set in the Yarra Valley, amidst beautiful established gardens dating from 1854. The luxury period accommodation contains 32 suites and the award winning Restaurant- Eleonore's- and boasts some of the best rural vistas in Victoria. The lounges and sitting room are a showcase for fine paintings and antique furniture. The Hotel is situated on 250 acres of land with a 2.7 kilometer frontage to the Yarra River. It enjoys spectacular views across the Yarra Valley- Victoria's premier wine-growing region- to the Great Dividing Range. The Heritage listed gardens have undergone significant rejuvenation including the restoration of the antique bronze crane which is the centerpiece of the formal front garden. The accommodation suites are individually decorated with different color schemes. Each suite boasts magnificent views from private balconies or verandahs, marble bathrooms, deep clawfoot baths in the River Suites or relaxing spa baths in the Stable Suites, Yarra Suites and the sumptuous Yering suite. A swimming pool, tennis court, petanque, and country walks through vineyards, cozy guest lounges with open fireplaces and the Beauty Room add to the relaxing and charming atmosphere.

The Yering Suite (651 square feet) is the premier suite, which has its own private staircase leading up to a large sitting room tastefully furnished with antiques and a gas log fire. There is a stereo Television, DVD player and fully stocked Mini bar. The fully appointed marble ensuite bathroom boasts a corner spa bath. The bedroom is also tastefully furnished with antiques including a Queen-size Half Tester bed. Both the Sitting room and Bedroom have Balconies facing the distant hills and gardens.
Banquets & Meetings
Chateau Yering provides an elegant venue for weddings and celebrations and an ideal retreat for small conferences and business meetings. The Oak Room, Chinese Room, Library or Restaurant all offer spacious conferencing areas that are equipped with the latest technology. Capacity 140.
