Fourteen individual courtyard houses, or beits, meander organically up from the one-thousand metres of private coastline around the ancient Arabic bazaar to form Sharq Village & Spa. The 174-room village, situated in an area known as Sharq, meaning orient, perfectly blends traditional architecture and design with the latest in modern comforts and amenities. Guests can glide through the twisting village streets, cool off in the two strikingly constructed pools, recline on an outdoor majlis, or pick up everything from a traditional shawl to precious jewels at the village souq.
