List of New York City’s Largest Hotels
March 5, 2009By: Mackenzie Allison
Ever wonder which of NYC's hundreds of hotels are the largest? Actually determining which ones are the biggest seems like a lofty endeavor--with more than a few taken up at least a city block. Well, Crain's Business New York has compiled a list of the 25 largest hotels in the New York area, which is ranked by number of rooms. The top five include: the Hilton New York, with 1,980 rooms, including 46 suites; New York Marriott Marquis, with 1,949 rooms, including 57 suites; Sheraton New York Hotel and Tower, with 1,757 rooms, including 57 suites; New York's Hotel Pennsylvania, with 1,700 rooms, including 35 suites; and Grand Hyatt New York, with 1,311 rooms, including 55 suites. To qualify for the list, a hotel must be located in New York City. So next time you are in the Big Apple check out one of these hotels, I am pretty sure they will have the space to accommodate you.
