Rooftop Parties at The Peabody Memphis

And we thought The Peabody was known for its ducks! (Their daily parade to the lobby's marble fountain has been termed a "must-visit Memphis attraction.) But The Peabody Memphis has a lot more than waddling mallards to entertain its guests. When it's summertime in Memphis, it's Rooftop Party season at The Peabody: "with hot bands, cool drinks, and sky-high views of the sun setting over the Mississippi River." The best part of all? The weekend starts on Thursday night. Here are the deets:

"Named among the "Top 10 Rooftop Bars" by Gadling.com and voted "Best Pick Up Joint" by the Memphis Flyer, Peabody Rooftop Parties take place on Thursdays during the summer from 6 - 11 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes one drink. Free admission for ladies until 7 p.m. VIP Season Passes are available for $75. As the most rocking hotel in Memphis TN, our parties feature hosts Maney, Drex, Riley, and Alexis from Q107.5 FM, DJ Mark Anderson and the best live entertainment in the Mid-South. Runs through August 11."

A portion of the profits from every Rooftop Party ticket sold benefits the Memphis Music Foundation to help foster up-and-coming Memphis artists.
