Old Bahama Bay Resort and Yacht Harbour is located 56 miles from the Florida coast, on the westernmost tip of Grand Bahama Island. The 228 acre resort is 26 miles from Grand Bahama International Airport in Freeport and 35 miles from the tourist area of Lucaya. It is also 25 miles west of Freeport.
Directions to Hotel
When leaving the Grand Bahama International Airport in Freeport (FPO), make a right. Take the first left onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road until it ends at Queen's Highway. Make a right on Queen's Highway. Follow Queen's Highway for 2.6 miles. Then make a right at the roundabout, which is also Queen's Highway. At the T junction, take a right into Eight Mile Rock. You will be on this road for 13.4 miles. You will pass the subdivisions of Holmes Rock, Deadman's Reef and Bootle Bay. When you see the Welcome to Old Bahama Bay sign, make a right onto Bayshore Road, West End. Bayshore Road leads you into Old Bahama Bay.
Private boats can enter The Bahamas at the Old Bahama Bay Marina, an official Port of Entry with on-site Customs and Immigration. Numerous cruise ships call on Freeport and Port Lucaya, with many making the passage from Florida in less than five hours.
