Welcome to The Jefferson Washington, D.C. An intimate, residential-style metropolitan luxury hotel just four blocks from the White House in the heart of Washington, D.C.'s diplomatic and business districts, The Jefferson is a warm and well-appointed union of sophisticated polish and presidential conveniences.

Discerning, discreet, distinguished: The Jefferson's eight-story, 100-room Beaux-Arts-inspired historic hotel enjoys a central location in the heart of the nation's capital. Just four blocks from the White House, the property debuted in 1923 under the stewardship of Edward Bennett Williams, an ardent admirer of Thomas Jefferson. Williams not only named the hotel after the influential Founding Father, but also collected vital manuscripts signed by Jefferson, many now displayed at the hotel.
