Morrison House furthers its sophisticated setting with thoughtful amenities and services to make your stay memorable. Three inviting meeting rooms provide an ideal place for business meetings or social events and the entire hotel is set up to keep you connected with complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access. To keep you satiated, dine at The Grille, an award-winning restaurant featuring Relaxed American Fine Dining each evening. The four star, four diamond Morrison House, a Kimpton Hotel, boasts an intimate 45 guestrooms, all with the romance of Europe and charm of Early America. Elegantly decorated with authentic Federal Period reproductions, our accommodations welcome you with a soothing color scheme of golds, creams and cranberry reds with accents of forest green to help you unwind. Luxurious Fil d'Oro bed linens are complemented by the two- or four-poster beds, and some guestrooms feature decorative fireplaces or crystal chandeliers. All of the bathrooms feature Italian marble and plenty of space, along with Anichi bath towels and Gilchrist and Soames amenities.
Recommended Rooms
Morrison House features two styles of accommodations. First - the One-bedroom suites consist of a two-poster king-sized bed, a separate formal parlor with a second television, silk sofas with tea tables and chairs, and an Italian marble bathroom. The suite can be connected to a Superior bedroom to create a two-bedroom suite. Second - Deluxe Guestrooms include a variety of unique configurations. All have Italian marble baths, a sitting area with a small sofa or armchairs, a tea table and a mahogany armoire. Some have decorative fireplaces with a mantel or crystal chandeliers. All of our Deluxe Guestrooms have four-poster king or queen beds, some with canopies.
Meeting Space
Morrison House, a Kimpton Hotel, features three beautifully appointed meeting venues as well as our restaurant and private dining rooms, with over 2,000 square feet to accommodate all manner of Old Town functions, downtown Alexandria business meetings, wedding events and social occasions. Located on the second floor of our boutique hotel, our event spaces make it easy to host events for 15 to 30 guests.
