Behind the beautiful century-old facade are 28 newly appointed luxury suites with 24-hour butler service. The suites are furnished with mahogany or birch furnishings, lush wall coverings and sumptuous Frette linens and private in-room bar, and equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art technology. Every suite has a unique 'butler's cupboard': a place for laundry, shoes to be shined or room service trays to be set, so the Butler may retrieve or return them without ever disturbing the guest. The hotel boasts a staff to guest ratio of 1:6, the highest in Canada. The hotel is host to the Courtyard Cafe for exceptional dining. The extraordinary cuisine is served in a breathtaking room with 50 foot ceilings, skylights and limestone walls. Enjoy traditional afternoon tea in the Tea Room, which is transformed to become Toronto's only champagne and caviar bar in the evenings. The hotel offers 9 deluxe suites, and all suites have King size beds except for the two standard rooms. The 2 Windsor Suites and 4 Corner Suites have been recently renovated. Highlights of the Windsor Suite include - 1500 sq.ft. of space, 2 pull out double bed couches, a living room, a den, 6-person dining tables fireplaces, two bathrooms - one full and one three piece that includes a shower stall.
