All Rooms Are Overlooking The Mighty Waikato River And Have A River And Forest View. The Rooms Are Built Amongst 8 Separate Cottages And None Of The Guest Rooms Are In The Main Building. The Main Building Consists Of A Main Lodge Room Which Is Basically Used By The Guests As Their Living Room. We Entertain Our Guests Here For Cocktails Prior To Dinner. Dinner Takes Place In Our Main Dining Room, Where We Serve A Five-Course Set Menu Dinner. This Menu Changes Daily. Next To The Main Dining Room Is Our Library Which Can Be Used As A Separate Dining Room. Before Entering Our Front Office You Go Through Our Giftshop Where Guests Can Buy Gift Items Which Have The Huka Lodge Logo. Upstairs You Will Find Our Trophy Room, A Room To Be Used For Private Dinners Or Small Meetings And Conferences. Opposite Our Front Entrance You Will Find Our Winecellar, A Separate Room For Dinners And Also An Active Winecellar Which Holds Around 25,000 Bottles Of Wine-Both International And Domestic. We Also Use The Cellar Often For Winetastings And Special Events. The Property Is 17 Acres And Guests Are More Than Welcome To Stroll Through The Gardens. We Have An Astro Turf -artificial Grass- Tennis Court And Outside Spa Pool, A Petanque Court And A Crocket Field. Flyfishing Can Be Done Straight Off The Banks Of The Waikato River.
