The hotel comprises 420 exquisitely appointed luxury guest rooms, including 53 suites. The decor throughout the hotel exudes a perfect blend of the East and West, including artworks inspired by classical Sung dynasty pieces. Taking advantage of the unique curved shape and soaring height of our signature building, which is the tallest hotel in the city, all rooms and suites have engaging and varied views of the Taipei skyline and the surrounding mountains.

Lobby Court, the Marco Polo Lounge on the 38th Floor and Li Bai Lounge offers different options for guests who would like to have a drink or order a light meal.

The hotel has two swimming pools, the outdoor heated rooftop pool, located on the 43rd floor is open all year round . A second outdoor pool, located on the 6th floor, is open during the summer

Shopping
Adjacent to the hotel, The Mall, an international shopping mall with more than 100 boutiques, offers designer fashions ranging from stores such as Cerruti, Maxmara, Ferre, Polo Moschino and more. Guests may obtain a temporary VIP card, which offers discount shopping in most of the stores.

Shangri-la's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei's premier luxury hotel, occupies an ideal location in the heart of the city's flourishing business district on fashionable Tun Hwa South Road, just five minutes away from the Taipei World Trade Convention and Exhibition Center and Taipei 101 and only 45 minutes from the Taiway Taoyuan International Airport.

Directions to Hotel
Guests may arrive at the hotel from the airport via taxi, airport shuttle bus and hotel limousine. The travel time varies depending on the mode of transport The transportation details area as follows-

Taxi- The travel time is approximately 50 minutes. However, if it is during the traffic hour, the travel time may take up to 90 minutes.

Air Bus- Buses depart every 20 minutes. The Air Bus travel time is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. Right outside of the Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel on the Tun Hwa South Road, an airport bus stop is just at the corner.

Bus Stop Locations- Terminal I- On the north side of the Departure Hall. Terminal II- On the southeast side of the Arrival Passenger Reception Area facing terminal.
