The lobby, meeting rooms, and intimate dining areas showcase eighteenth-century antiques, Baccarat crystal chandeliers, French tapestries, and Persian carpets. Recently awarded Travel + Leisure magazine's, Best Business Hotel in San Diego, California, The Westgate is conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Diego, facing the Horton Plaza Shopping Mall, one block from the Gaslamp Quarter, across from the Civic Center and a short walking distance from the Convention Center.

Filled with priceless antiques and appointments, The Westgate's standard deluxe rooms are considered the largest accommodations in downtown San Diego. There are seven rooms at The Westgate that comply with the ADA codes that were in place as of the most recent remodel. Including grab bars in the shower/tub and hand held shower heads. Shower benches can be provided. In addition, the hotel offers vision impaired and hearing impaired telephone, alarm clock and door knocking device and close captioned television, which are portable and can be installed into any guest room.

From the Airport: Follow Signs For Harbor Drive Downtown. Stay On Harbor Drive For Approximately 2 Miles. Turn Left On Broadway And Drive 9 Blocks. Turn Left On Second Avenue. Hotel On The Right. Underground Parking At The Corner Of Second Avenue And C Street. Turn Right Down Ramp.
