The Regent Palms — Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
The Regent Palms
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
As of April 2, 2007, The Palms has become 'The Regent Palms Turks & Caicos'. Less than 600 miles southeast of Miami, the idyllic Turks and Caicos Islands beckon sophisticated travellers. Here on the sugar-sand shores of Providenciales, outlined in azure blue, the simple pleasures of island living mesh seamlessly with contemporary luxuries in a Caribbean paradise called The Regent Palms. Inspired by the classic estates of Oliver Messel, The Regent Palms lies amidst 12-acres of gardens at the edge of 12-mile Grace Bay beach. In five separate buildings designed in hand-cut coral stone, the 72 one, two and three-bedroom suites feature no less than 1800 square feet of living space with custom mahogany furniture, marble floors and vaulted ceilings. Private terraces, most with ocean views, serve as open-air salons for lively conversation or quiet contemplation. And bedrooms become restful retreats, with inviting hand-tufted mattresses upon which to relax. Aromatherapy mists, tropical sorbet and individual iPod minis beside the serpentine infinity pool ensure a pampered ambience.
The 15,000 square foot spa is almost a destination unto itself. Pan-Tropical cuisine is featured in the signature restaurant in the central Mansion. "Anything is Possible" is the philosophy by which the hotel serves its guests in creating a bespoke experience around their individual needs and expectations. The commitment to this ideal is such that a system of underground tunnels interconnects each building throughout the resort so that services may take place unobtrusively and completely out of sight of the guests. Housed in a separate salon and adjacent to the resort's guest residence buildings is the Concierge and Guest Services Office. The staff includes Clefs decor concierge services and an office suite available for the resort's guests with high-speed internet stations, telefax and copying services. Other features adding to the guest experience are an airport welcome and en suite check-in.
