In Paris, in the heart of the Golden Triangle and in a quiet street between Montaigne Avenue, Georges V
Avenue and the Champs-Elysees, lies a hotel that associates the brilliant architecture of the Hausmann era
with a contemporary elegant style. The hotel is La Tremoille. Always one of the jewels in Paris' realm of
traditional deluxe hotels, La Tremoille reopened its doors to the public in June 2002 after 15 months of
extensive transformation. This restyling has been a true renaissance for the hotel, a rebirth that succeeds
in preserving the architectural heritage of the building and the site. The space and volumes have been
completely re-envisioned by Richard Martinet so that the hotel now offers 88 rooms and junior suites and
5 deluxe suites. Richard Martinet is a master of deluxe hotel transformations, and has also redone the
Four Seasons George V and the Pershing Hall in Paris. The building facade, in Haussmannian style and listed
as an historical monument, was restored to its original splendor, with particular attention paid to the
moldings and wrought iron balcony work. The roof was also refurbished so that the building now fits
perfectly into its architectural landscape in the heart of Paris' 8th arrondissement. The hotel's
steadfast, quality-conscious personnel is ready to greet you in a resolutely contemporary decor. The 93 comfortable, modern rooms are decorated in over
30 harmonious color schemes that vary from room to room and leave guests with a unique and warm feeling of
unpretentious luxury. The hotel features absolute privacy for guests who request it, thanks to a unique
system installed in all rooms. Each room at the Tremoille has a private compartment- called the "Hatch"- linking
it to the hallway, so that room service can be brought to your room without service staff actually entering the room.
Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - La Tremoille
George M., Athens, Greece. January, 2007
"All in all, a highly recommended hotel."
Jim K., Sydney, N.S.W., Australia. January, 2007
"Room was adequate and large enough considering European standards. The location in Paris of the hotel is very good. Service not so good. Did not eat in the hotel restaurant. Lack of use of a no charge computer was a downer as all the other hotels of that class had unlimited use of computers. This hotel claimed to have it but it was always 'not operational'. You could use one in the lobby by paying with a credit card overpriced and seldom available. I will stay elsewhere in Paris next visit."
Recommended Rooms
The suites offer panoramic view of the Paris rooftops. You can
decide to receive guests in your suite's living room, or relax in the comfortable armchairs. Bathrooms are
outfitted with dark marble and warm woodwork, deep soaking tubs, and Molton Brown bath products. Certain
rooms also have private balconies or bow windows that offer splendid views of Paris rooftops in the
Golden Triangle quarter.

The La Defense business district is nearby, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel
Tower are just a few minutes away, and the Louvre and Place Vendome only slightly father. The hotel is on a
very quiet street, but neighboring streets are full of activity. There you will find the creations of the
world's most famous designers, and some of the world's greatest restaurants. And these streets are filled
with the laughter of night-owls, stars and jet-setters on their way to some of the hottest spots in Paris.
