The Hotel Excelsior overlooks the seaside promenade of elegant Naples, close to the city's most famous shops and attractions. "The Naples Excelsior Hotel was really beautiful. Our room was quiet, with a beautiful view. We couldn't find any restaurant. We did find an elevator to the Roof Garden, but it was filled with tables and chairs, stacked all around. The reason we stayed there was to try the restaurant, so that was a disappointment. The front desk staff were very friendly. We usually stay at "The Vesuvius" a couple of doors down - I would say that either of those two hotels are beautiful, and we'll stay at one or the other when we next go through Naples."
