Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - The Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai
Jill E., South San Francisco, CA. January, 2007
"We absolutely loved the Taj Mahal Palace, except for one thing that might be more of an issue with the city of Mumbai rather than the hotel itself: the street noise. Our room had a fantastic view of the Arabian Sea and the Gateway of India, as well as the very noisy street below. We could hear cars honking below us way into the night, which did not help us battle jet lag. Other than that, the hotel was magnificent and the concierge service was impeccable. Complimentary breakfast at the Sea Lounge was also great. I wasn't blown away by their spa services, but having tea by the pool was just as relaxing. Had we not been so tired from our travels, we may have been awake long enough to enjoy the restaurants in the hotel. "
Allison L., Miami, FL. January, 2007
"Excellent service. Beautiful amenities."
Bill, Stone, England. February, 2006
"Fantastic hotel, we stay in around 10 hotels a year and this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was second to none every request we had was answered politely and professionally. The hotel had 6 excellent and varied restaurants and we ate in all of them."
Chuck, Kalopa, HI. February, 2006
"Very nice hotel. The breakfast room staff were great, especially Mr. William. Concierge desk could use some training in better customer relations. Make the lobby less cold. It is over air conditioned. The restaurant Souk, is one of the best in the world! Staff is fantastic. I liked the old Palace feeling of the old building; modern fixtures and old world charm."
