Dating back to 1865, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is owned by and named after the family of the Duke of Westminster. Located in the heart of the historic city of Chester, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is one of the finest hotels in the north-west of England and one of a handful of hotels to be awarded five AA Red Stars. It was honoured with a Gold Ribbon from the RAC in 2005, making The Chester Grosvenor and Spa one of the four five-star hotels outside London to achieve this award.
Chester is an area renowned not only for its Roman heritage but also for its beautiful architecture, the shopping 'rows' and breathtaking scenery. The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting all the historic sites of Chester, including the Roman walls, amphitheatre and Chester Cathedral.
