The Dom Hotel has just undergone an exciting EUR 8.5 million complete refurbishment. Its 124 guest rooms and suites have been furnished in warm, bright and modern colors with bathrooms finished in Italian black marble. The newly opened seafood restaurant, Le Merou, was designed with the help of Michel Rostang, the famous 2 star Michelin chef from Paris and Sir Peter Ustinov's Bar International, named after the hotel's regular guest, is the hotel's brand new bar. The Dom Hotel offers superb conference facilities. During the refurbishment, 6 new conference rooms decorated in warm colors have been added, equipped with modern technology including wireless internet.

Meetings, conferences, business meetings as well as private events can be held in the 10 banquet and conference rooms
equipped with modern technology and wireless internet connection. The hotel can create special events upon request,
for example- tours to the roof of the Cologne Cathedral.
Fine Dining on Site
The seafood restaurant, Le Merou,was designed with the help of the Parisian 2 star Michelin chef Michel Rostang, and is an attraction in its own right with its sparkling chandeliers and the unique panoramic view of the Cologne Cathedral. The restaurant was completely renovated at the end of 2003. Le Merou offers modern, high quality cuisine complemented by a wine list of more than 80 wines with an emphasis on the regions of France, Germany and Italy. On the Lido Summer Terrace, you can relax and enjoy the unique view of the Cologne Cathedral. Sir Peter Ustinov's Bar International, adjoining Le Merou restaurant, is an ideal meeting place for friends or business partners with its central oval bar and comfortable sofas. The international drinks menu includes both traditional cocktails as well as new creations.
