Guest, the company behind Chicago's Blue Water Grill, has partnered with renowned chef David Burke to bring you David Burke's Primehouse, a modern interpretation of the classic American steakhouse. David Burke continues to redefine Modern American Cuisine as he pushes the envelope of culinary creativity. The restaurant's design elements reflect the inspiration for its cuisine through warm tones such as cumin and cinnamon.
Get your night started at our lounge, J Bar. Anchoring the south end of Rush Street's nightlife, J Bar offers signature cocktails in a modern environment. David Burke's Primehouse features a contemporary steakhouse menu with meats handpicked from Creekstone Farms in Kentucky that are dry-aged on the premise in a salt-tiled aging room.

The hotel does not provide rollaway beds. For families, 2 rooms are recommended. "Double guest rooms" allow max occupancy of 4 using existing bedding, for additional fees.

The James Chicago features 7,000 square feet of special event space that can accommodate corporate or social events ranging from 10 - 220 guests. The special event spaces feature the latest in technology, modern design and natural light. All special events provide restaurant style dining with menus created by David Burke and the chefs of B.R. Guest.
Fitness Center
Work out in the 2,000 square foot fitness center, The Gym, with state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment, advanced weight systems and facilities where seasoned personal trainers are available for questions. Training sessions are offered by appointment.

Pets are welcome, but not puppies.
Spa Facility
The Spa includes three treatment rooms where professional therapists provide a wide array of exceptional spa treatments. A true traveler's spa, treatments range from rejuvenating facial services to relaxing massage therapy. In-room treatments are also available upon request.
