"Surely one of the better hotels I've stayed in. Ideally located on the main boulevards in Berlin with great transport links. We had a junior suite (highly recommended), large room, huge bath area, separate shower room and second toilet and a very comfortable over sized bed. The air conditioner worked well and silently. Great service and a special outdoor coffee area to watch the passing parade. I wouldn't stay elsewhere in Berlin."

"Very nice experience. Room was tired looking, however, and desperately needed an update. Table was unstable and carpet looking worn. Bathroom similar and very small. This was my only real criticism but the room is really important. Location excellent on Kurfestendam and within easy reach of shops, city, etc. Service was excellent. Restaurant meal (one night) superb and service very good. Desk service good, concierge excellent and quick. Pool and facilities very good. Cab ride from airport a must. Overall pleased with experience from Five Star Alliance, follow up very good. Would book again."

"The room was small but comfortable and well furnished. In my opinion the location of the hotel is one of the best in Berlin and was the definite for me to choose the Kempinski. Restaurant, food and service are superb but I cannot say the same for the service at the concierge desk, both in coming and out going."
