The Palazzo Vendramin and connecting Palazzetto Nani-Barbaro are two 15th-century buildings linked to the Hotel Cipriani through an ancient courtyard and flowered passage-way, with magnificent views overlooking the lagoon and Piazza San Marco. "The setting is beautiful. We had a junior suite with a rooftop patio and a beautiful view of the area around Venice. The food at the restaurant was good, but service for breakfast was only fair. Dinner service was excellent. The Cipriani is a wonderful experience. We have completed surveys for the St Regis Grand in Rome and the Cipriani in Venice, but not the Villa San Michele in Florence and it is by far our favorite... service, food, atmosphere, etc."

After the creation of the Vendramin and of the Palladio Suites, 2005 has witnessed the inauguration of the awe-inspiring Dogaressa Suite, the likes of which has never before been seen in Venice. This new Suite is located right opposite St. Mark's square and the world-famous piazza appears through its four gothic windows. The sitting room, the largest in the palazzo, is decorated with original Coromandel screens, antique Chinese lamps, Fortuny and Rubelli fabrics. The imposing, airy bedroom overlooks peaceful gardens; a spacious corridor leads to an elegant pink-marble bathroom. Vendramin Suite: This luxurious apartment is the diamond point of Palazzo Vendramin. The living room offers incredible vistas across the basin of St. Mark's and a sense of understated luxury. The high level of privacy has made it a top-choice among VIP guests and celebrities. Palladio Suite: Opened in 2002 the magnificent Palladio suite recreates the fairy tale that is Venice in a magical space spun out of light, transparent crystal and pure air. Guests enjoy a 180 degree view over the Venetian lagoon, a secluded private garden with an outdoor heated jacuzzi.
Banquets & Meetings
Theatrical performances, art exhibitions, concerts, gala dinners and marriages are fashionable events at the Cipriani. Receptions are planned according to each client's requests and can be held in many different areas of the Hotel, such as the restaurants, gardens and waterfront terraces, or even in the immense brick-walled Granaries of the Venetian Republic. The maximum capacity of the largest conference room is 350 people.
Disabled Access
The hotel reccomends that guests in wheelchairs reserve at least a junior suite to ensure that they have plenty of space.
Fine Dining on Site
Fortuny Restaurant: Delicately blown glass, precious fabrics and amber-colored mirrors, magnificent views of the lagoon and architectural details reminiscent of St. Mark's dome come together to create the perfect setting for a relaxed candlelit dinner. Its terrace is set in a lush flowered garden with a beautiful antique water fountain bordering the lagoon. Cipriani-style food is simple, fresh and perfectly prepared: pasta and pastries are made in the hotel daily, as are the breakfast croissants. The Fortuny Restaurant, with its two terraces by the lagoon (the Fortuny Terrace and the Antique Terrace), can also be reserved for special events or private parties. Cip's Club: Located on the Fondamenta delle Zitelle with the most beautiful views across the lagoon to St Mark's Square is Cip's Club Restaurant. Its service and food is refined but casual, and very Venetian. The Cip's has a private landing and a number of spaces for mooring private yachts, up to 30 meters in length. Poolside Restaurant: The informal Poolside Restaurant, located by the Pool Loggia, offers the famous Cipriani Hors d'Oeuvres from the buffet. Open for lunch in good weather.

The romantic Casanova Spa is named after the legendary lover who once held clandestine trysts in the fragrant and colorful gardens of the Hotel Cipriani. Fabulous treatment rooms offering Babor massages and other relaxing therapies open on to private terraces with fountains which offer guests ultimate privacy with scenic peaceful surroundings. One of the treatment rooms is dedicated to the special SeaCreation, using shells and special fluid sourced from the deep sea created by Babor. Also available, is workout equipment by Technogym including the new Proellixe Vibration machine which enhances muscle firming and total well-being. Highlights of the Casanova Spa treatments and massages range from: floating energizing treatments, cranial and Swedish massages and the restorative technique know as ScenTao, the famed toning and stress reducing massage using hot stones. The Spa now also offers new, sophisticated treatments, such as jet-lag eliminator and the Balinese massage "Ajaran".
Tennis Courts on Site
The hotel's red clay tennis court, the only one in central Venice, is situated in the beautiful Venetian garden of the hotel, on the edge of the lagoon.
Golfing
During the months of March, April and October, the hotel's private launch leaves every morning at 9:30 am for the Golf Course Alberoni (40 minutes).
