Rosewood Hotel Georgia
First opened in 1927, the Hotel Georgia came to be known as Vancouver's most historic and elegant retreat. The Georgian Revival structure located in downtown welcomed a who's who of the entertainment world to British Columbia, including Elvis Presley, Nat "King" Cole, Katharine Hepburn and British royalty. When it is unveiled in 2011, the legendary luxury hotel will feature 155 guest accommodations, Sense, A Rosewood Spa®, an indoor swimming pool, a chic lounge and signature fine dining restaurant by renowned Chef David Hawksworth.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia will provide discerning travelers with a level of stylish elegance equal to its landmark location. Designed with a residential atmosphere, the 155 rooms and suites will layer modern sophistication against the historic backdrop of the restored hotel. The eminently comfortable accommodations will be softly enrobed in a palette of light blues, ivory and chocolate and outfitted with sleek furnishings and spa-inspired bathrooms.

Situated in the heart of Vancouver, Rosewood Hotel Georgia is ideally located for business and pleasure. Within walking distance, one can visit Stanley Park with its seawall promenade and aquarium or experience the dynamic atmosphere of Robson Street and its high fashion boutiques. Nearby Granville Island and historic Gastown are both a delight to visit, while day trips to explore the North Shore Mountains, Sea to Sky Country, Sunshine Coast or Vancouver Island are easily arranged. The list of leisure pursuits is endless—from heli-skiing and snowboarding to sailing, golfing and whale watching.
