"We enjoyed our stay very much! The room was excellent and we especially appreciated the walk-in shower facility! The staff was very attentive and the hotel location was ideal. I would not hesitate to recommend to others. In the future when traveling back to Vancouver, we will definitely stay at the Metropolitan. If there is a criticism, it is with respect to the fitness area and the condition of the equipment, specifically the stationary bicycles. These are inadequate. As per previous comments, the only area that needs a facelift is the fitness facility and specifically the stationary bikes. They are old and in a state of disrepair."

From Vancouver International Airport: Follow airport main road to Arthur Laing Bridge. Cross, exiting at "Vancouver via Granville St." Follow Granville to Granville St. Bridge. Cross, exiting at "Seymour St." Follow Seymour to Dunsmuir. Turn left. Follow Dunsmuir two blocks to Howe St. Turn left. The hotel is on the immediate right at 645 Howe St., valet parking is available. Driving time from the airport to the hotel is approximately 25 minutes.
