The InterContinental Resort Tahiti is the premier international Resort of Tahiti, The main island of French Polynesia, situated between California and Australia in the South Pacific. The Resort has a total of 263 units, comprising of 170 fully renovated lagoon and garden view rooms, an extension of 60 panoramic view rooms with a Presidential Suite, and 32 over the water bungalows located in 32 acres of gardens. The Polynesian style resort with its own private sand beach and lagoon, offers views of unforgettable sunsets over the Volcanic peaks of sister island Moorea, just 12 miles across the sea of moons.

Don't Miss - Arahurahu Marae The only ancient temple or meeting place in all of Polynesia that has been fully restored. It is used for the re-enactment of old Polynesian ceremonies during July's Heiva i Tahiti celebrations.The Lagoonarium This underwater viewing room is surrounded by pens containing reef sharks, sea turtles and many colourful species of tropical fish and has a terrific view of Moorea.The Island of Moorea Beyond the beautiful lagoons and white sand beaches, this volcanic island is also famous for its six mountains, including Mt Rotui, which offers spectacular views of Opunohu Bay and the island. The Island of Bora Bora Two towering peaks of black rock dominate the centre of the island and make an impressive backdrop to the blue waters that surround it.
