First opened in 1912, the historical Rocco Forte Hotel Astoria was purchased by The Rocco Forte Collection in December 1997. The 223-bedroom Hotel Astoria, located on St Isaac's Square overlooking the city's famous cathedral in the center of St. Petersburg, is close to all the main attractions, including the Hermitage Museum and the Mariinsky Theatre. Hotel Astoria has been designed to reflect the elegance and history of St. Petersburg, with the bedrooms featuring a stylish mix of Russian antiques and contemporary design.
