This is the only private safari lodge in Kruger National Park's Ngala Game Preserve. The hotel is located on the banks of the Mapone Riverbed. Sightings of breeding elephant herds, white rhinos, and 260 species of birds are common. Each hotel guest has the exclusive use of a Land Rover and personal butler service. There are only 20 thatched cottages in the hotel

From North - Take R40 To Klaserie, turn Left After 4.5 Miles At Timbavati Sign, continue For 19 Miles To Timbavati Gate. Guests Can Hire A Car From Eastgate Airport And Self Drive To The Lodge Or Fly Directly In Chartered Aircraft To Ngala Airstrip. Try Not To Travel At Night. No Road Lights. Directional Road Maps Are Available.
