Don't Miss - The Bund Situated on the banks of the Huang Pu River, the bund is Shanghais most famous district. The architecture of this old commercial area is mostly Pre 1937 and the waterfront boulevard contains many of the city's famous old banks and trading houses. The Jade Buddha Temple With two magnificent jade Buddhas, brought from Burma by Monk Huigen In 1882, enshrined within the temple. Ceremonies are regularly held here. The Jin'An Temple A delightful little temple with distinctive yellow walls on Nanjing Road to the west of the Shanghai Centre. The Longhua Temple The biggest and oldest temple in Shanghai and part of a monastery. The chiming of the Longhua bell in the monastery is one of Shanghai's eight Tourist attractions. People's Square Houses the Grand Theatre, the Grand History Museum and the Exhibition Hall.
