"The hotel location and view are phenomenal. We had a beachfront suite and simply loved going to sleep to the sound of waves crashing and watching the sun rise. More importantly for us, however, was the exceptional service. The round-the-clock service is next to none; the graciousness and courtesy demonstrated by each and every hotel staff exceeded our very high expectations. The staff was very accommodating, always responding 'right away' to just about any request made. Most importantly, the biggest draw for us is Restaurant C, operated by one of our favorite chefs, Charlie Trotter. The various tasting menus prepared by the chef and the wine pairing by the sommelier on our numerous visits to Restaurant C were amazing. We are in the hospitality industry and have very high standards yet the staff at Restaurant C and the One & Only Palmilla more than exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend the hotel."
