The historic Hotel Schloss Fuschl Resort and Spa sits on a beautiful peninsula in Lake Fuschl, facing the Alps and surrounded by 30 acres of greenery. It was built around 1450 as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the Archbishop of Salzburg. Prince Archbishop Paris Count Lodron - under whose reign Schloss Fuschl saw the greatest glory in its history - held a spectacular hunt here in June 1624.
