Hotel Schloss Fuschl Resort and Spa
The historic Hotel Schloss Fuschl Resort and Spa sits on a beautiful peninsula in Lake Fuschl, facing the Alps and surrounded by 30 acres of greenery. It was built around 1450 as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the Archbishop of Salzburg. Prince Archbishop Paris Count Lodron - under whose reign Schloss Fuschl saw the greatest glory in its history - held a spectacular hunt here in June 1624. In 1977 the property was transformed into a luxury hotel with elegant accommodations, modern amenities including extensive meeting and conference facilities, and a health and beauty spa. The Hotel Schloss Fuschl's 110 elegant rooms and suites - magnificently furnished and equipped with modern amenities - overlook breathtaking views of either Lake Fuschl or the castle's beautiful park.
After a complete refurbishment in 2006, the exclusive 5 star hotel has new restaurants and a new wellness area.
