The Patios de Cafayate Hotel & Spa is located on the same grounds as the state-of-the-art El Esteco Winery. The vinery and its vineyards are located in the Calchaqui Valley, at more than 1,700 meters above sea level. Its strategic location, optimal height, great thermal amplitude (100F maximum and 53F min. in the summer), stony and sandy ground, and proximity to mountain water generate a unique microclimate which is ideal for growing grapevine. Cafayate is home to an ample range of vineries, which offer guided excursions to taste the excellent and varied wines, among which the famous Torrontes wine stands out. The harvest of the grape takes place in the month of March. The entire town enjoys this time because it is the culmination of a year's worth of work and they are grateful for the generous gift from the earth. There are a great number of other attractions in the town of Cafayate. Discover the architectural wonders of the Cathedral. Explore the more than 1,000 archaeological pieces at the Rodolfo Bravo museum. Or you can see the work of local craftsmen firsthand at the artisan market, tourist commerce, and in particular factories.

Many of the recipes are created around eggs because the whites were once used for the clarification of wine at the vinery and the yolks were often used for well-known desserts, such as ambrosia, puddings, and regional pies.

Our Winespa, is located in one of the most important wine-producing regions of Argentina. The main objective is "to promote relaxation, health, pleasure, and rejuvenation applying body and facial treatments, based on the culture and traditional wealth of Calchaqui Valleys." At Winespa, we use the benefits of the grape to reach all of the senses. The enhancing properties of the Andean cereal, "quinoa," together with the typical products of the Valley, such as the carob tree, the cactus, and molle, are united with the skin of the grape to revive the ancestral treatments of the old Calchaqui culture. We have prepared a variety of treatment options including humid treatments, body treatments, massages, and facial treatments.
Most of our guest rooms and suites are located in the original buildings, which have been completely and carefully restored and adapted to the modern traveler's needs. Every room is uniquely decorated with antique furniture, artisan carpets, ceramic floors, and penny royal baskets. 15 Garden View rooms feature spectacular views of the gardens and have direct access to the patios and corridors, which connect the entire house. Beautiful views of the vineyards and the impressive hills are the focus of our 11 Vineyard View rooms. Three Vineyard View suites on the first floor provide complete views of the vineyards and the forest of carob trees, most of which are more than 200 years old. Each suite also offers a double Jacuzzi in its bathroom. We also offer a Handicap Accessible room, which provides all of the necessary services to make each stay a pleasant one.
